Thats how long it took me to complete this set! Four Score and Seven Years ago I started collecting the Disney Park Starz Series 1 Vinylmations! Being a mystery series, you do NOT know which of the 12 you are going to get. I had them all EXCEPT honest Abe here. Everytime I'd go to Disneyland, I'd stop at D Street and pick up one of the tins containing these cool collectibles and everytime I'd get out the door, open it up ... JOSE the bird from the Tiki Room!!! I must of gotten about 100 of them. Wellllll, on December 30th as I was skipping up Down Town Disney, I tripped and fell. Stunned, I layed there arms sprawled, goodies from my bag all around me. I cried a little and this little kid came up to me and asked me if I need help. With my arm around his shoulder I stood up, my eyes blinking through the tears. As I looked around to see if anyone was watching (they were) my eyes happened upon a vinylmation trader about 10 feet from me and next to him ... Abe! I pushed the little kid out of my way, he sprawled, arms out, goodies from his bag all over the place! I ran to the trader who was 10 feet away. Out of breath I asked, wanna trade Mr. Lincoln for Jose the Tiki Room Bird? Silence. My mind raced as to how I was gonna snatch Abe and make a run for it. Just as I was making a plan to chuck Jose at his eye and blind him, he said yes! I grabbed Abe close and hugged him. Thank you thank you I cried. I carefully placed him in my back pack and left.
And that is how I had my Great Moment With Mr. Lincoln.
