As the sun set on Main Street USA in Disneyland, I stopped to take a photo of the Magic Shop. The warm, low sunlight was perfect. I quickly took advantage of the no people and snapped away. I lowered my camera to take a quick view of the shots. Upon reviewing the photo's, I noticed a little girl standing off to the side. I didn't see her before. I looked up and she was still there, unmoving. I walked over next to her and saw a glazed look in her eyes, staring. I followed her glance to the shop window where a spinning disk with a white line circleing from the center to the edge was rotating madly. Next thing I remember was some lady coming up from behind us and grabbing the girls arm, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN SWEETHEART, the frantic mom hollered, You had me scared to death! I guess this little girl was totally hypnotized by this thing and had been standing there for an hour. Then out of the blue a hand grabbed my arm, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN DUMBASS, I've been searching for you for the last 45 minutes, came the voice of my spouse.

If It Swirls, Don't Look At It
Happy Lunar New Year
Disneyland Resort is celebrating the Lunar New Year. They have a cool little performance next to It's A Small World. It was a lot of fun to watch, the kids all got to interact with streamers on sticks. This was one of the dancers in the show.

Happy Lunar New Year (Watch Were You Step)
I was walking around Disneyland when my ears picked up the sound of some wonderful music. Following the soothing melody I came across this wonderful celebration of the Lunar New Year. I swung my camera around and started taking shots. I saw this one woman with the perfect smile and knew I had to get her shot. I saw her look my way and her eyes grew bright and her smile wider. Hmm, I thought, could she be hitting on me? I lowered the camera and met her gaze. She leaned in close to my ear and whispered softly, so sorry, I think you just stepped in Dragon Poo.

Is It Me, Or Did Woody Just Fart?
One Christmas just after Toy Story came out, a friend of mine had a Christmas party. Right in the middle of it, his son came down stairs and in a very loud voice yelled, HEY, Uncle Mike, want to see my Woody? I snickered and leaned closer to his Dad standing next to me, apple doesn't fall far from the tree does it. Again, his son hollered Uncle Mike, come see my Woody! I leaned back to his Dad, we really need to talk and snickered some more. UNCLE MIKE, louder this time, Come and ... that was all I could take. I just busted up. OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD his dad says, will you go up already so he'll stop saying that before his mother grounds me for life.

OH, THE HUMANITY!
It takes weeks, even years to make one single Mickey Mouse Pretzel. They take top secret ingredients grown in Fantasyland, squish them together to make a dough, plaster it on Mickey's face in between meet n greets with kids, pluck the mouse hairs out, strategically place the salt on it so that it subconciously screams at the person walking past - buy me sir, please buy me, then they slow cook it in the warm southern California Sun for a year all so that I could one day purchase one to take a photograph of it. AND I BIT THE EAR OFF BEFORE THE FIRST SHOT!
Doh!

Happy 1st Birthday
I awoke this morning to a pair of welling yellow eyes staring down at me. Shaking my head, I thought to myself, NOW whats wrong? His little purple lips quivered as gushes of water shot out of his eyes in every direction. YOU FORGOT MY B B B Birthday! DOH! I said the only thing I could think of that would calm him down. Do you want your Photo taken today. The water stoped flowing but his lips still trembled.
. Just you and nobody else, I said. His lips swung into a smile and he started jumping up and down on the bed. With him all happy, I got up, grabbed the camera, took him outside, pointed the camera at him and said smile. Just as the camera took the shot, I ran around behind him and got even for a years worth of pictures he stuck his fat head into.

Whoops
On one of my rare trips to Disneyland (shut up) I was riding the Monorail into the park. This little bug kept flitting around my face. I would wave it away and would flit back into my face. I was getting annoyed. I couldn't have that, I was going into the happiest place on earth and who wants to be annoyed going there. Anyway, it wouldn't stop. As the monorail rounded the Matterhorn, I had had enough. The bug flitted right in front of my face and with lightning speed my hand flew up and swatted it against the window. As I looked over at it, a quick high pitched scream left my lips. I quickly scraped it off the window and hid it under the seat. As the train pulled into the station, I whispered to my spouse, "run, I just killed Tinker Bell!"
